Aidan Laros is the least tough player in college football according to EA Sports. The prominent video game developer did Kentucky’s punter extremely dirty.
It gave him a pathetic rating that does not apply to any of the other 16,000+ athletes on the FBS level.
Laros began his college football career at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte but he did not play a single down and chose to enter the transfer portal as rising redshirt freshman. The 6-foot-2, 218-pound specialist ultimately transferred to the University of Tennessee-Martin, where he handled field goals, punts, kickoffs and PATs. The Skyhawks used him for all forms of kicking.
Although Laros did everything for UT Martin, it was his punting that set him apart. He led the FCS with 47.3 yards per punt, placed 16 punts inside the 20-yard-line and had 15 punts result in fair catches.
His performance against top-ranked Georgia was so dominant that the Bulldogs actually tried to recruit him after the game.
Aidan Laros had different plans. The South African specialist transferred to Kentucky prior to last season and served as the Wildcats’ primary punter in their last nine games with 10 fair catches and 11 inside the 20-yard-line. This fall will be his fifth and final year of eligibility.
EA Sports considers Laros to be one of the better punters in the Southeastern Conference. It gave him a 77 overall rating for the College Football 26 video game, which falls somewhere in the middle of the pack. However, it also ranked him as the least tough player in the entire country with a toughness rating of zero.
Aidan Laros is the only player in the game with a toughness rating of zero. Oregon linebacker Teitum Tuioti for some reason has a toughness rating of nine. N.C. State cornerback Jackson Vick and Indiana free safety Christian Peterson have toughness ratings of 55. There are a few kickers in the 60s.
And then there is Laros. He is the least tough player in college football according to EA Sports. Brutal.
