KNOX COUNTY, Ill. (TCN) -- A woman was recently convicted of poisoning a man over a span of months, killing him, and hiding his body.
The Knox County State's Attorney's Office announced June 26 that a judge found Marcy Oglesby guilty of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and aggravated battery by administering a dangerous substance in connection with the death of retired Maquon Police Chief Richard "Rick" Young. Oglesby's sentencing hearing is set for Sept. 3.
