Actress Sydney Sweeney was recently spotted at a bar performing karaoke. Sweeney has been spotted at karaoke bars a handful of times in the last year or so.

According to a viral post on social media, actress Sydney Sweeney invited a young woman and her friends to a bar to perform karaoke. The young lady claims that she and Sweeney performed the song “Sex on Fire” by the band Kings of Leon.

Back in the spring, Sweeney went viral after she was seen performing the Adele song “Someone Like You” at a Key West, Florida, karaoke bar following reports that she split from her fiancee Jonathan Davino. The year prior, she was also recorded performing the Natasha Bedingfield song “Unwritten” with a friend at karaoke.

“Why is Sydney Sweeney singing karaoke at the bar I’m at?” another Twitter user posted over the weekend.

Earlier this summer, it was announced that Sweeney would star in an adaptation of the video game Split Fiction from Wicked director Jon M. Chu. She was most recently seen in the AppleTV+ film Echo Valley alongside Julianne Moore, Domhnall Gleeson, Kyle MacLachlan, and Fiona Shaw, and will next appear in Eden and Americana, both hitting theaters on August 22.

Later this year, Sweeney will star with Amanda Seyfried in Paul Feig’s adaptation of the bestselling thriller The Housemaid, which is slated for a Christmas Day release.

Her Christy Martin biopic is currently in post-production, with a release date yet to be announced. During a recent press tour, Sweeney revealed she gained 30 pounds of muscle for the role of the legendary female boxer, much of it added to her chest and glutes.

At 27, Sweeney remains in high demand with a packed slate of upcoming projects. She’s attached to Edgar Wright’s Barbarella, a live-action adaptation of the hit anime Gundam, OutRun directed by Michael Bay (although she is only on board as a producer at this time), I Pretended to Be a Missing Girl, and several other projects.
