Kate Middleton is wearing a special look for the French state banquet!

The 43-year-old Princess of Wales reunited with her wedding dress designer for the dress she wore to the event on Tuesday (July 8) at Windsor Castle in Windsor, England.

Kate joined the royal family – including husband Prince William, his dad King Charles, and step-mom Queen Camilla – to honor French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte during their state visit to the UK.

The red dress that she wore was designed by Sarah Burton for Givenchy. When Kate married William back in 2011, Sarah designed her look while working at Alexander McQueen. Now that she’s working with a French fashion house, it was the perfect time for them to reunite.

Kate also wore a tiara for the first time in years, wearing the Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot Tiara.

William and Kate took to social media to share a photo before the event and they wrote, “Ready for what promises to be a wonderful State Banquet this evening in Windsor 🇫🇷🇬🇧.”

Earlier in the day, Kate marked a fashion first during her 14 years of royal life.
