We have an exclusive clip from Masterpiece on PBS’ smash-hit series Grantchester!

The clip is from the upcoming fifth episode of season 10, which will air this Sunday (July 13) on PBS, and it features the continuation of the chemistry between Alphy (Rishi Nair) and the new character this season, Meg.

In the clip, Mrs. C (Tessa Peake-Jones) and Cathy (Kacey Ainsworth) push Alphy to answer the phone call that he seems to be avoiding in the hopes that it’s Meg (Christie Russell-Brown) on the other end of the line.

However, the clip ends up taking a turn when Alphy learns that Leonard (Al Weaver) has been arrested.

By the way, a fun fact about the actress who plays Meg: it’s her first TV gig!

“It’s my first ever TV job and … I’ve been welcomed with open arms by every single person,” Christie told PBS. “I’m going to cry if I talk about it too much! I’m properly part of the little Grantchester family.”
