Chris Pratt will be lending his voice to an iconic comic cartoon character.

The 46-year-old actor voiced the title character in 2024′s The Garfield Movie. On Tuesday (July 8), it was announced that Chris would be reprising his role as the iconic orange cat in the upcoming sequel.

Jim Davis, who first created the Garfield comic strip in 1978, will serve as an executive producer on the sequel. Other details about the movie, including the writer and director, have not yet been announced. Chris is currently the only cast member to have been announced.

Chris has loaned his voice to a number of films in recent years.

Along with voicing Garfield in the 2024 movie, he’s also voiced Mario in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and Emmet Brickowski in The Lego Movie and its sequel.
