Popular podcaster Alex Cooper of Call Her Daddy fame did not get a warm welcome in Chicago. On Sunday, the Cubs announced that Cooper would be in attendance to take part in the singing of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” during the seventh-inning stretch at Wrigley Field.
“Our Father, Alex Cooper, is taking over the Friendly Confines! Come on down to Wrigley Field Sunday, July 6, and take part in Big Al’s Takeover. This Special Ticket Offer includes a ticket to the Cubs-Cardinals game and an exclusive, limited-edition souvenir jersey. You don’t want to miss Alex lead the crowd in “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” during the seventh-inning stretch.”
Unfortunately for Cooper, her rendition of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” was not well received by Cubs fans, and she was booed throughout her appearance during the seventh-inning stretch.

Cubs fans now want Cooper banned from Wrigley Field over her performance.
7/6/25. Alex Cooper. Immediate lifetime ban is warranted. Making a mockery of this @ Wrigley is so disgusting and disrespectful. #7thInningStretch #WrigleyField #Disrespect pic.twitter.com/U3VGrKtSHU
