The offseason is underway for the Nebraska basketball team as not one, but two players entered the transfer portal on Monday, announcing their departure from the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Ramel Lloyd, a 6-foot-6 guard who spent two seasons with Nebraska basketball, but saw little playing time, was the first to announce. It’s disappointing it never worked out, but Lloyd could still have a bright future if he can stay healthy.
However, the second transfer on Monday, which was guard Eli Rice entering the transfer portal, caught Nebraska basketball fans off guard. Rice averaged 4.3 points per game for
